Facility & Park Rental

Maple Leaf Park is ideal for many events and functions. Your imagination is the only limit to what Maple Leaf Park can do for your group, charity, business, concert, church, or personal event. Organizers have many options to choose from, including our lovely Waterside meeting/party room with its lake view, pavilions with electrical service and areas for outdoor activities. Large groups or events can even reserve the entire park!

Arrangements can be made for a wide-range of catering or you’re welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

Come to us for business meetings, training retreats, and brainstorming sessions. Our staff can help with planning, set-up, and organization to insure your time is spent productively.

Churches benefit from youth group campouts and spiritual retreats. Maple Leaf Park is a wonderful place to focus on faith and fellowship amidst nature’s bounty.

In the past, Maple Leaf Park has hosted Bluegrass Festivals, Evanstock 5, Drumming Festivals, and many other musical events. Our pleasant outdoor setting and the 90-guest capacity of Waterside are ideal for festivals, concerts, jam sessions, and one-on-one or small group learning. We’re conveniently reached from Chicago and other metro areas and only thirty minutes from three universities, including Northern Illinois University.

Maple Leaf Park Specializes in Fundraisers & Tournaments Looking for a different sort of fundraising activity? Consider Maple Leaf Park and a Duck Race on Big Indian Creek, Basketball Hot Shot Shoot-Out, Home Run Derby, or Poker Walk. Hot Shot Shoot-Out and Home Run Derby offered as elimination events with a final playoff; competition brackets usually for age 12 and under, 13-17, and 18 up. For Duck Race events, we offer a pre-race Regatta for homemade floating “crafts” under 36 inches. They can be as simple as a decorated plastic bottle or elaborate constructions complete with decks and sails. You choose the charity and activity, and Maple Leaf Park helps organize your event.

If sports are your thing, we can accommodate that, too. Maple Leaf Park is equipped to host your next sports tournament. Participants can camp in the park or come down for the day to enjoy basketball, volleyball, softball, lineball, horseshoes, fishing, and much more. Whether it’s a fundraiser or simply a group outing, contact us for information, options, and details.
